Season's first buttercup

Two-year-old Hadley Kysar was the first to bring a buttercup into the Lincoln County Record-Times office this year. She discovered the cheerful bloom near her home northeast of Davenport on Tuesday, April 8. Hadley, the daughter of Alison and Grant Kysar, received a donated $5 gift card to Some Like It Hot as a thank-you-and she was excited to spend it on some hot chocolate. Congratulations, Hadley!
