Spokane and Moses Lake men busted
DAVENPORT — Two men were arrested Friday in connection with separate theft investigations led by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, following weeks of work by local deputies and the assistance of multiple law enforcement agencies.
According to LCSO, deputies arrested Michael B. Flinn, 46, of Spokane, after serving a search warrant with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office at a property in Spokane County. The arrest stems from a report received approximately three weeks ago that multiple propane bottles had been stolen from a storage locker at Davenport Family Foods.
Deputies linked Flinn to the reported incident, as well as a similar prior theft. Flinn was booked into the Lincoln County Jail on probable cause for second-degree theft.
In a separate case, deputies arrested Daniel K. Lewis, 31, of Moses Lake, following an investigation into a string of vehicle prowls and thefts reported throughout the Davenport area over the last month. On Friday, LCSO deputies, with help from the Ephrata Police Department, served a search warrant at a property in Ephrata where they recovered evidence related to the case.
Lewis was booked into the Lincoln County Jail on probable cause for multiple charges, including two counts of second-degree theft, theft of a firearm, money laundering, and identity theft.
“These cases required many hours of investigation, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team for the outcome,” LCSO said in a statement. “We also want to thank the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, Ephrata Police Department, and Airway Heights Police Department for their assistance in the investigations and the service of search warrants.”
