REARDAN - Chewelah showed the Screaming Eagles why they are the No. 1 baseball team in the NE2B league when they met Tuesday, April 15. In the second inning, the Cougars scored 16 runs on nine hits in their 22-0 shellacking of Reardan. The win improved Chewelah's record to 10-0.
Chewelah pitcher Grady Skok threw a gem by allowing only one hit and by walking only one batter in the five inning game.
Maveric Sobotta collected Reardan's only hit of the game.
